I love finding art pieces for our home e

This Neukolln apartment is another project that is highly bespoke. Almost every piece in the space was designed, fabricated and customised on site by Fauxlie Studios or sourced from vintage suppliers.

The upholstery theme was shades of rosa, and velvet, creating a lush, cosy, textural backdrop. In the living room, both the bench and the coffee table were created by Fauxlie Studios, from found wooden objects, while the sofa and the armchair were completely refinished and reupholstered. The perspex side table and the ornate desk were both trödelhalle finds, and the extensive houseplant collection a labour of love.

In the bedroom, again, almost every piece is made by Fauxlie Studios, from the hung-velvet bed headboard, the pink linen duvet cover, the reupholstered vintage chair, as well as the window seat bench, refinished to create a mock-bone-inlay effect, without the cruelty! The light box and small side table were also created by Fauxlie Studios.

There are many furs throughout the space, none bought, of course, as Fauxlie Studios strives to be entirely cruelty free in the materials we use. Each and every one of these furs were found objects, discarded. We believe this to be the ultimate disrespect to the animal that sacrificed its life, and so each were saved and honored within this home. We do not promote or condone the use of newly purchased furs or any items that support animal cruelty!
